杨贵妃传媒网ygfcmw·(中国)站入口直接进 is seeking an Assoc. Sci. - Neuroscience to support discovery鈥憇tage research within the neurobiology group. The role involves conducting both in鈥憊itro and in鈥憊ivo experiments, including hands鈥憃n work with rodent models for behavioral assessments, compound administration, surgical assistance, and sample collection.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and execution of experiments aimed at understanding disease mechanisms, discovering therapeutic targets, and validating novel strategies. You will also have the opportunity to characterize samples using biochemical, molecular, and immune-based assays, as well as develop in vitro models.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, or a related field.
- Experience with in vitro and animal models of brain disorders, histology, and tissue preparation is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with neurodegenerative disorders is advantageous.
The Associate Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Plan, initiate, and complete in vivo assays, including cell line maintenance, standardized behavioral tests, injections, rodent surgeries, and sample collections.
- Conduct biochemical, molecular, and immune-based assays such as ELISAs, western blotting, immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry, and RT-qPCR.
- Learn and apply new methods or technologies relevant to projects, including stereotactic drug delivery and flow cytometry.
- Accurately document findings and maintain lab records in an electronic laboratory notebook.
- Present data in formal and informal meetings.
