Inventory Control Specialist - Contract - Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:

杨贵妃传媒网ygfcmw·(中国)站入口直接进 is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and integrity within a facility. In this role, you will focus on optimizing space utilization, monitoring product movement, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position is integral to maintaining efficient order fulfillment and contributing to a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control inventory integrity.
  • Maintain product identification and location systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Track and report non-conforming products.
  • Document and manage aged or damaged products.
  • Ensure timely labeling and compliance with inventory accuracy metrics.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Train staff in inventory control techniques as needed.
  • Assist warehouse employees and logistics staff when required.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and overall operations.
  • Perform tasks in compliance with regulations, international standards, and company policies.
  • Support adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including email and spreadsheets; experience with Great Plains preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and World Courier.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 65 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Comfortable working in environments with biohazards, chemicals, and variable noise levels.
  • Commitment to compliance with FDA and worldwide quality regulations.
